These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BetterFast mobile application (“BetterFast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using BetterFast, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
BetterFast is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.
By using the app, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use BetterFast.
BetterFast is a personal wellness tracking application designed to help users monitor intermittent fasting routines.
BetterFast:
• Does not provide medical advice • Does not diagnose or treat medical conditions • Is not a substitute for professional healthcare advice
You are solely responsible for your health decisions and use of the app.
Intermittent fasting may involve health risks and may not be appropriate for all individuals.
By using BetterFast, you acknowledge and agree that:
• You are voluntarily engaging in fasting practices • You assume all risks associated with those practices • You are responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare provider before beginning or modifying any fasting routine
The content, features, and functionality of BetterFast are provided for informational and self-monitoring purposes only.
Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, or health practices.
An anonymous account is automatically created when you first use BetterFast.
You are responsible for maintaining control over your device and any linked authentication accounts.
We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from loss or compromise of your device.
BetterFast offers an optional paid subscription that removes advertisements.
Subscriptions:
• Are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play • Automatically renew unless cancelled • Must be managed through your app store account
All billing, refunds, and subscription management are handled by the respective app store platform.
BetterFast displays advertisements through third-party providers.
By using the app, you acknowledge that:
• Advertisements may be displayed • Advertising partners may collect device-level data in accordance with their own privacy policies • You may opt out of personalized advertising through device settings
We do not endorse any advertised products or services.
Your use of BetterFast is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information.
By using the app, you consent to data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
You agree not to:
• Use the app for unlawful purposes • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app • Interfere with app functionality • Access data that does not belong to you
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
BetterFast, including its design, content, branding, and functionality, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
BetterFast is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
• App and/or historic data availability • Accuracy of information • Suitability for any particular purpose • Fitness or health outcomes
Use of the app is at your sole risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BetterFast and its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages • Health-related outcomes or injuries • Loss of data • Loss of profits or revenue • Claims arising from your fasting practices
If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BetterFast and its owners, officers, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of:
• Your use of the app • Your fasting practices • Your violation of these Terms
You may stop using BetterFast at any time.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the revised Effective Date.
Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
